Clarkson Community High School students finalised a semester-long project that required them to produce a recipe book and cutting board last month.

Year 9 students Jessica Stott, Cassandra Nelligan, Jade Manning, Taylor Peters and Genevieve Burnop staffed a stall at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre recently and sold about 60 packs over four days.

Students researched, created and taste-tested the recipes before handing them on to the Information Technology class, which put the book together.

Clarkson Home Economics teacher Adam Blackmore said the project showed students how school work was connected to outside situations.
