Members of the Rotary Club of West Perth, which supports Clarkson CHS were honorary guests at a sumptuous meal prepared and served by members of the catering and hospitality course under the expert guidance of their teachers Peta Brown and Adam Blackmore. There guitarists from the music scholarship program – Angus Daly, Luke Vandermark, Alan Boyle, and their teacher Sabina Ibrahimbegovic welcomed the crowd into the restaurant.

Later Year 12 Music TEE students singer Teegan Vitali and guitar player Sharudin Jumani and Darren Hartnett entertained the group throughout the night .

“Sails Restaurant” provided the theme for table decorations, balloons and even the food – seafood chowder, treasure chest chicken, shipwreck salmon and orange Caribbean delight! The food was absolutely delicious.

The school was delighted that not only District Rotary dignitaries attend but also District Director Rid Lowther, West Coast TAFE Program Manager-Hospitality Jimm Eriyagama. ECU Deputy Vice Chancellor Patrick Garnett, and ECU Pro Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean Robery Harvey, and SKM Project Manager Karen MacKenzie.

Principal John Young and several teachers were hosts for a night of sensational food, smiling and attentive service, beautiful music and fun entertainment at the West Coast TAFE who generously donated their kitchen for the occasion. Pam Best, West Coast DEO.
